Iranian cinema managers and hall operators were upskilled with the latest and the most up-to-date technical standards in the realm of screening.
Iranian National School of Cinema held this course with the companionship of Professional Cinema Office, Cinema Owners Associations, and Cinema Managers, in order to enhance the experience and knowledge of the professionals and operators in different domains related to screening and intended to boost the quality of the screening in the country.
Of the Topics discussed in the course are the following: “Introduction to the Basics of Digital Cinema Focusing on Screening”, “A Review of Executive Process in the Screening Cycle: Concepts, Definitions, and Trends”, “An Introduction to Standard Indexes of Sound and Picture in Screening”, and a dialogue about the “Troubleshooting of Digital Screening Cycle”. These issues were discussed in the two-day workshop. Kamran Saharkhiz, Hootan Haghshenas, and Shervin Ahmadi held the classes in the Ferdows Hall of the Cinema Museum on July 14th and 15th. It is noteworthy to say that the first day of the workshop dedicated to the modern cinemas and the second day allocated to the eminent and top cinemas.
